Rockstar

I cannot get on with my Friday stuff without first paying hommage to the glorious Lukas Rossi. Thanks to him I am having an unexpectedly beautiful day. I like to get my own way, after all I am the baby of my family (by 14 years), completely spoiled and quite possibly could be considered 'high maintenance'. I did + Lukas won. Having being utterly addicted to Rockstar I would have taken anyone else winning very personally. Thanks to him my morning is shaping up well despite the following setbacks:
1. I woke up late so youngest son also woke up late. I looked like a bag of cats as I hadn't washed my hair and just put on what I was wearing yesterday in order to avoid driving to school in my pyjamas.
2. I was almost home when school phoned to say he had forgotten all his swimming togs so I had to come home and then go back to school with said paraphernalia.
3. I have really bad sinusitis which I am attributing to the haze we have had here for the last 5 weeks ( I am deluding myself here, I get sinusitis because I smoke too much + have 4 cats to whom I am allergic + the entire English side of my family have sinus problems ...)
4. I have no cash.
Normally these minor irritations would see me swearing my way along the Bukit Kiara freeway having slammed every door in my house. Not today ... I am a paragon of Zen.
So thanks Lukas.
Thanks also to my big sis who is arriving tomorrow - I am beyond excited.

I'm afraid that I must take a different side- I was very disappointed that my reality-TV boyfriend Magni (my non-reality TV boyfriend being Dr. Burke from Grey's Anatomy, by the way, because he is all shades of awesome!) did not win. However, after I got over the sting of Magni getting sent packing, I was rooting for Lukas to win over Dilana because he is much more awesome than she is! I was disappointed, though, to watch his win being completely overshadowed by Dave and Gilby's fawning all over Dilana and ultimately giving her a better prize (she gets to go on the tour AND record her own album? WTF?????)......Lukas deserved to enjoy his win without having to share the spotlight, and he did sound great singing with the band at the end. And the best part? No more slinging chicken wings at Hooters!

Glad to see we don't have the same boyfriends!(my non-reality TV boyfriend being Johnny Depp and my reality TV one being the fabulous Lukas - but with less make up and better hair)
I agree about the fawning but Lukas, I imagine, is way too cool to care.

Oh Ryan Star where are you? I mean that rendition of Losing My Religion was better than the orignal.
